This is the Registration Form for the 2008 Hash Cruise, brought to you by the Dalmatian Hash House Harriers (more specifically Antibiotics & Kingfisher hereafter referred to as ‘the Organisers’). Details were provided in Newsletter #1 sent to you earlier this year, so the Organisers will restrict this form purely to the booking process. Please fill in the relevant sections carefully, follow the instructions shown at the end, and then have a beer!

Registration is for Cruise accommodation from Saturday 20th September midday on board until the morning of Saturday 24th September 2005; meals and drinks on board; hash runs; and any extra events added by the Organisers. Registration is on a ‘First Registration & Payment Booked First’. The only variance is for non-Euro account payees, where they are given an extra 2 days for currency exchange delays. Those processed first will secure their choice of cabin (where still available). It is important to ensure your booking reference appears on your bank payment to the Organisers, otherwise your booking confirmation will be delayed. Bookings will be confirmed in batches, as the Organisers check the bank account details on a weekly basis. Date of payment received is what determines your booking has been made.

 

Booking: All of the cabins have similar facilities, except a few that can sleep 3. You have to select your preference of a cabin above the waterline (noisier) or below deck, and we will try to accommodate your request:

This selection is on the basis of ‘first confirmed booked, first choice’, so please accept our apologies in advance if you respond later than others or your payment is delayed by your bank! J

 

Cost: The cost is the same for all - Î710, and it is paid as one full payment. All bank charges need to be covered by you, so we suggest you add another Î12 to your payment, and we will sort out the difference when you are on board. If there are no places available by the time your payment is received we will refund the payment, but minus any bank charges.

   If you want to cancel once you have a confirmed place then we will assist you in try to sell your booking onto someone else, but it is your responsibility – not the Organisers! We have to pay the boat owners whether you attend or not…. J

Completed registrations must be e-mailed. Proof of payment/ sending is not proof of receipt! The Organisers will acknowledge receipt of all payments via e-mail as booking confirmation (or otherwise). Remember this process make take 14 – 21 days from past experience! Printed names on this form, and sent via e-mail, will be regarded by the Organisers as valid signatures.

 

[1] Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate your dietary requests, the Organisers are not responsible for you checking before you eat/ drink!

[2] Where you specify a cabin-partner the Organisers will try to accommodate your preference.  However, late-bookings or unforeseen circumstances may make this impossible.

[3] Whilst the Organisers will endeavour to be aware of your medical problem in an emergency, they will not accept any responsibility for any treatment you receive. Furthermore, the Organisers expect you to take some form of medical and travel insurance cover for the duration of the Hash Cruise.

[4] The Cruise dates and itinerary are subject to change, particularly where the masters of the vessels believe your safety is at risk (for example because of a deterioration in the weather).

[5] Whilst on board the Hash Cruise boat(s) all hashers are expected to follow reasonable requests from the Organisers or the masters of the vessels. Failure to do so may result in you being removed from the Hash Cruise without financial compensation.

[6] Confirmation of payment received is confirmation of booking – i.e. no places are reserved until payment into the bank account is confirmed to the Organisers. N.B. It may take 2 – 3 weeks before the Organisers get confirmation!

[7] Any booking accepted is subject to the cancellation policy. The Organisers will not recompense you for any travel costs you already incurred related to the event.

[8] Taking item [7] above into account, if the number of places is exceeded by the demand then those whose payments are confirmed last will not have a berth and have their payment returned (less bank charges).

[9] Whilst every effort will be made to match your selected cabin type and cabin partner, the Organisers state this may not always be possible and ask for your understanding!

[10] If you cancel then we recommend you sell your place. We will try to assist with potential names but it is your

responsibility

[11] Finally, remember – this is a cruise for hashers not a luxury tour of the Adriatic. We offer a lower level of

accommodation & food, but better beer & parties!  So now you know - no moaning!!

 

 

Participants on the Dalmatian Hash Cruise 2008 expressly waive their right to pursue the Organisers of Hash Cruise 2008, their agents, servants or assigns, for any loss, including injury and personal loss, howsoever caused, whilst participating in Hash Cruise 2005 and its associated events. All bank transfer costs will be borne by the hasher. In signing below I agree to the terms and conditions stated.
